IPL (Intense Pulse Light) is a technology that delivers a highly concentrated, singular beam of light into the hair follicles. The pigment within the hair absorbs the light, changes it into heat which then causes permanent damage to the cells in the follicle, preventing a further hair from growing.

Your practitioner will clean the treatment area and apply some cool contact gel to protect the skin. You will be provided with goggles
during the treatment to protect your eyesight. Treatment sensations varied but you can feel what is described as a ‘hot flick’ of an elastic band during the treatment. However, thanks to the Dynamic Relfex Technology, most clients describe the discomfort as moderate to tolerable.

The number of sessions required varies from client to client and is dependent on many factors. However, a minimum of 6 and up to 12 treatments, are recommended to deliver the best results.

Most people are suitable for treatment. We recommend a consultation with your clinician to ascertain if the treatment will be successful for you. Grey/white hair has no melanin so is not recommended for treatment.

Results can be seen after just a few treatments.
